Hello to lovers of all things flour, sugar, and butter! My name is Paige and I am the founder of Flourish Bakery & Company. This bakery began as a little girl’s passion for all things food and baking that has been 29 years in the making. I am so glad you are here!
For those of you that have followed me on this journey from the start, know that I have had the hardest time coming up with a name for the bakery. Paige’s Pastries, Tater’s Treats… the alliterations go on and on an on.
But one thing I have always been confident on was that I wanted the font to be in my mom’s handwriting. An ode to those first few memories of watching my mom decorate cakes in our kitchen and where this whole love story began. Mom would effortlessly decorate tiered cakes with perfect shell borders and beautiful hand-piped flowers. All her decorating tips and food colorings being safely held in a tackle box. Yes, you heard me right, a fisherman’s tackle box. One year for Christmas, I was gifted my own tackle box and the rest was history.
Flourish as a definition means “to grow luxuriantly”. I view it as a reminder to live in a space of abundance. Abundance of loved ones, memories, and all things that bring joy to your life, like this sweet bakery I call mine.
The two have come together to make the logo you know of today. A daily reminder of the foundation where this all began and to the pursuit of future memories.
